Summer 99

As most of you will be aware this summer has not been the greatest of times for cdsrus, with lapsed deliveries, long delays and breaks in communication

There really is a simple explanation for this.

When I agreed to take over from Col in May, neither of us foresaw any real problems. However, when I finished my academic work in Late June, I found myself becoming VERY ill. This affected my day to day routine very badly and it made it almost impossible for me to carry on doing CDSRUS. I was admitted into Hospital in August for serious work on my respitatory system, and I was told to take it VERY easy until the end of the year. Something unfortunately I did not do, every time I tried to sort out cdsrus, I made myself even more ill, so just as it seemed I was on top of things, I got knocked back to square one.

Then I had a problem of no internet access for 5 weeks, which prompted what was basically a load of ill informed crap to be posted on bulletin boards, and I had no way of responding to it.

I decided the best thing to do was to wait until I was better before trying to sort things out, so I kept a very low profile for the past couple of months.

Now I have the go ahead to resume doing cdsrus, and I intend to turn things around VERY quickly indeed. Contingency plans are now in place so that if I become ill again, things will be taken care of.
